Photoshop practice day 1

 Last week i started learning photoshop. This is my first time working with photoshop so there`s room for improvement. My first practice project was to composite a picture using a rendered picture of a 3D cabin, bakground picture that I took myself and entourage of a couple of objects from my own photos.

This is the finished product.

I placed the entourage on planes in 3ds Max before rendering to get the shadows right. I saved the picture as jpeg which meant I had to erase the background before adding my own bakground. I ran into a little problem erasing the seethrough parts of the tree.

This picture is to show the textures I made from my own photos, wood and gravel. Using photoshop I made it tilable and a bump map.
