Visualization

This week we got the challenge of showcasing a house designed by Louis Kahn. We got a 3D model of the house and were free to furnish it and add materials as we saw fit. The focus was visualization and the project was taking a raw 3D model adding materials, furniture and lighting before rendering out photos of the final result. I picked out two of the pictures to work with in photoshop. This is my final result.
The house has a lot of windows which gave great opportunity to practice those lighting skills. In photoshop I added a few trees with shadows and bakground.

The livingroom is very open and perfect for minimalistic furniture. In photoshop I fixed a few over exposed patches on the walls that were burnt from the lights.

with the right textures and good lighting, the bookshelf looks stunning. For this photo I tried to focus on good composition.

The room next to the livingroom looked perfect for a little TV area. Here I focused on good lighting, and textures.

The back of the house was to give a better idea of what the house looks like.
